Benny Dayal is an Indian playback singer. He was born on 13th May 1984. He is known as a brilliant singer who has sung for Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujrati, Marathi, and many more languages films.

He was born and grew up in Abu Dhabi, UAE, completed his schooling from Abu Dhabi Indian School. Later, he completed his bachelors in Commerce and Masters in Journalism from Madras Christian College. The singer moved to Kollam district in Kerala, India.

Career

Benny Dayal has sung over 2000 songs in 16 Indian languages. And that’s amazing! He is also a brand ambassador of the music band titled ‘S5’ launched by the SS Music TV channel.

The singer is also a great actor and debuted through the Malayalam movie named ‘By The People’. It was a suspense thriller and all songs became popular and sung by S5 members. It was the time when the veteran singer and musician A.R.Rahman noticed Dayal and took an audition.

Benny Dayal also worked as an Event Coordinator with RR Donnelley. Later, he left the job in BPO as he wanted to pursue a career in music. In 2016, he then married to his girlfriend named Catherine Thangam in Bengaluru.

Achievements

During a broad music career, Dayal won several awards including the 54th Filmfare Awards- RD Burman Award for New Music Talent – for the song titled ‘Kaise Mujhe Tu Milgai’ (Ghajini). In 2009, the singer also won the Stardust Awards- Max Stardust Awards for New Musical Sensation- Pappu Can’t Dance Sala’ for ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, and many others are on the list.
