Anu Emmanuel is a famous actress who acts in South Indian movies. She made her acting debut as a child star in the Malayalam movie Swapna Sanchari directed by her father Thankachan Emmanuel who belongs from Kottayam, Kerala, appearing as the daughter of Samvrutha Sunil and Jayaram in the movie. In 2016, Anu Emmanuel made her first appearance as a heroine with the Malayalam movie Action Hero Biju. She made her Telugu appearance with the movie Majnu and moved ahead to appear in other Telugu movies, like Oxygen, Agnyaathavaasi, and Kittu Unnadu Jagratha. She has also worked in Tamil movies, entering with a thrilling suspense movie Thupparivaalan.
Career
Anu Emmanuel lived her childhood in Dallas, Texas, United States. She appeared in Swapna Sanchari whilst she was joining the school in India. Upon completion of her movie, she settled back in the US, intending to finish her higher school education. Once in high school, Emmanuel knew she desired to follow something in the artistic field.
She made her first acting debut as the lead in Nivin Pauly alongside Action Hero Biju, which was produced by Abrid Shine. Throughout that time, they proclaimed her as the lead in the movie Oxygen, along with the famous actor Gopichand in the lead. In the shoot of that movie, she signed the movie Majnu opposite actor Nani.
Anu Emmanuel received immense critical admiration for her performance and role in the film. She instantly went on to mega league by signing the film Agnyaathavaasi trailed by a film starring Allu Arjun, named Naa Peru Surya. Though, these movies did not perform well at the box office.
She played leading roles in several movies like Rangasthalam, though she backed out. She then played the leading role in the Telugu movie titled Geetha Govindam. Even though she didn’t sign the film on account of date issues, the actress made a walk-on appearance in the movie.
Anu afterward signed Maruthi Dasari’s Naga Chaitanya starred movie, Shailaja Reddy Alludu, and played the role of an egoistic girl. Anu Emmanuel also received much appreciation and praise for the role of the movie that succeeds at the box office.
