She was born and raised in Izmir. Cagla Kubat originally belongs to the Turkish family. She considers her parents as the greatest strength throughout her career who encouraged and supported her during a hard time in life.

She found her keen interest in acting since childhood and always tried to find ways to pursue it as a career. But besides, she was a brilliant student in her time. However, she has completed her schooling from Izmir and also done her graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

Cagla Kubat won many awards and honors during her entire career life.  Also, she is a champion windsurfer and won the IFCA windsurfing European Slalom Championship in the year 2005, Alacati. Later on, In 2006, she placed 6th in IFCA Slalom World Championship in her first PWA (Professional Windsurfer Association) event.

She was the first runner-up for the Miss Turkey 2002 beauty pageant and represented Turkey at Miss Universe 2002.

She secured the third position in the women’s category at the 2012 World Slalom Championship in Spain.  Also, she became champion in the Master Female Slalom category of the IFCA Junior, Youth & Masters Slalom World Championships held in Alaçat? in the year 2013. She took the third rank at the 2013 World Cup.
