Fahrettin Cureklibat?r born on 7th September 1937, better known by his stage name Kunith Arkin, is a Turkish film actor, director, and producer. Appearing in nearly 300 movies and TV productions, he is generally regarded as the most accurate Turkish on screen. His films abroad were accepted as George Arkin. Arkin’s films span four decades of his career, from generally welcoming performances to mockbusters.

1- Cuneyt Arkin’s Family Background

He was born in the village of Gokceoglu in the Alpu district of Eski?ehir Province. He belongs to a Turkish family of Crimean Tatar and originates from Nogai.

2- His Educational History

He has done his graduation in medicine (Physician) from the University of Istanbul. After completing his studies, he then decided to focus on his childhood interest which was acting and directing films. It was the time when he took decision to go with his interest and started his career in acting.

3- He Was Best Known For

In the 1980s, Arkin was best known for his portrayal of Dunyay? Kurtaran Adam (The Man Who Saves the World, otherwise known as Turkish Star Wars) abroad, perhaps the least expensive sci-fi star. K was praised for revealing bootlegged scenes.

4- Before Fame

While he was working in the military as a rescue officer in his native place, Eski?ehir, he caught the attention of a prominent Halit Refig when he tapped ?afak Bekçileri (1963) starring Goksel Arsoy. After completing his military service, he worked as a doctor in Adana and the surrounding area.

5- An Award-Winning Actor

In 1963, he won a major award in the magazine. Seeking a career for a while, Cuneyt Arkin began acting with the idea of ??Halit Refig in 1963 and translated approximately 30 films in two years.
