1- Fikret Hakan’s Family Background And Education

He was born as Bumin Gaffar Citanak to parents Gaffar and Fatma Belkis. His mother was a head nurse and his father was a Literature teacher. He along with his parents moved to Istanbul from Balikesir and get education from Galatasaray High School.

Fikret Hakan was a recipient of the honorary State Artist, and he was honored with an acclaimed title awarded by the Turkish government.

3- His Artistic Career

He started his career in 1950 as an actor and he worked for the Ses Theatre and a contributor to literary magazines.

4- His Acting Debut

Fikret Hakan made his debut with a short comedy movie named Evli Mi Bekar Mi, which was directed by Muhsin Ertugrul in 1951. Also, he made his feature film debut named Koprualti Cocuklari which means Kids Under The Bridge. The feature film was released in the year 1953.
