She was born on 4th May 1983 in Chennai, Madras. She was born to Krishnan (Father) and Uma (Mother) who basically belongs to a Tamil Palakkadlyer family.

Her Academic Background

She got secondary education from the Sacred Heart Matriculation School, Church Park, Chennai. Later, she did graduation from Ethiraj College for Women in Bussiness Administration.

Her Modeling Career

After giving several prints and television commercials, she stepped into the field of modeling and won the title of “Miss Salem” beauty pageant in 1999. While in the same year, she won the title of ” Miss Madras”.

Her Titles and Awards

She had also won the tit;e of “Miss India” in 2001 and received a pageant’s “Beautiful Smile” award as well.

Her dream and passion was not acting

She had aspired to become a criminal psychologist, but later she decided to become an actress and model. Trishna gained a lot of fame and popularity in the field of modeling.

As she is a big animal lover, Trisha has been selected as the Goodwill Ambassador of PETA (an organization works for animals’ rights). Alongside this, she worked as Goodwill Ambassador for the “Angel for Animals” campaign organized by PETA in 2010.
