Alexandra Chaves is a Canadian actress, and a great dancer as well. She is mainly known for her acting prowess and became most popular for the wonderful performances she has given in the show titled “The Next Step” aired on the Family Channel.

She was born on 9^th May 2001, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada where she raised and grew up with her siblings and parents. Alexandra was so attached to her mom Alicia Chaves and they have a strong mother-daughter relationship.

Alexandra Chaves had been so passionate about her career from an early age as she took an interest in acting and dancing for long. After realizing her passion for acting and dancing, she then decided to pursue it as a career.

She completed her studies from St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School. Also, she attended Virtual High School to start her television career. How incredible it is that a young star has made herself as the real inspiration for millions of young people by making her career in multiple fields.

Career

Alexandra Chaves started her career with the Family Channel television series “The Next Step” and she appeared in its fourth season which was aired in the year 2014. In the series, she played the role of Pipe for which she got immense love and huge appreciation from her fans, friends, and followers across the globe.

Being a part of her work, she has participated in Family Channel’s Stand-Up! Anti-Bullying Campaign. While in 2017, she visited the UK along with her co-stars of “The Next Step” as part of the Disney Channel Big Ticket Concert.

She is best known for the show named “The Next Step” which is airing since 2013. It is about the group of teen dancers who are passionate to win the dance competition. The dance team was led by Captain Emily and head choreographer Chris.

Everyone has a darker side of life, and Alexandra Chaves had the worst phase too. It was the time when she was just 12 years old and diagnosed with heart arrhythmia. After diagnosing this disease, she took a break of nine months from dance.

 Achievements

In 2011, Alexandra Chaves was honored with the title of Mini Miss Dance Canada. Also, she was a member of the Toronto Raptors Junior Hip Hop Crew. Apart from this, she was part of the National Ballet School of Canada’s professional program.
