Badar Khalil who was popularly known as Baddo Aapa, born on 15th October 1944, hailing from Pakistan and worked as a TV actress in the Pakistani Entertainment industry. She was known for her popular role played in the TV serial “Bi Jamalo” for which she gained huge fame and appreciation from fans. Later, she appeared in many serials and all were aired on PTV. However, she was the great, high-spirited actress and had done various comedy plays aired on Hum TV. She died in the year 1989 at the age of 45 due to a heart attack.
Career
The veteran actress took the start of her professional career with a serial “Ankahi” which was a classic TV drama and it was written by a famed writer Haseena Moin. In 1968, she started her career as an anchor and hosted Children’s Shows on PTV for which she gained immense love from viewers. Also, she earned huge applause for playing the role of “Bi Jamalo” in the play “Bi Jamalo”. The play was directed by her husband Shahzad Khalil. She had done various TV serials including “Tanhaaiyaan”, “Dhoop Kinare” these both were the hit serials of that time. While among others, she performed in “Half Plate”, “Padosi”, “Peela Joda”, “Farar”, “Tumse Kehna Tha”, “Malaal”, “Khaali Haath”, are worth sharing. However, apart from this, there is more to the list in which she gave amazing performances. In 1989, her husband died because of cardiac arrest, and later, she decided to move to Canada where her sons lived there. Badar Khalil had lived a peaceful life until her husband was alive. Afterward, she just got upset and killed the time. Unfortunately, she lost her life due to a heart attack and died at the age of 45.
