Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer were also appointed to the Supreme Court. The Congressional Budget Office reported a budget surplus during the last three years of Clinton’s presidency, the first surplus since 1969.
He ordered U.S. military intervention in the Bosnian and Kosovo wars, signed the Dayton Peace Agreement, signed the Iraq Liberation Act opposing Saddam Hussein, participated in the Oslo I Accords and Camp David Summit to advance the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, and helped the Northern Ireland peace process.
