Evin Ahmad was born 8 June 1990 to Kurdish parents i.e., her father was an actor from Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, and her mother, from Afrin in Syria. Evin is an actress and author. She was brought up in Stockholm’s Akalla district, where she spent 22 years of her life. Her first appearance on screen was Ett Öga Rött (2007) which was a film adapted from novel of Jonas Hassen Khemiri.
