Jugnu comes from an educated family as her father, Sushil Kumar is a doctor. She has been practicing dance since the age of 4 and completed her Masters in Kathak dance.

She then started her career as a model and came under the spotlight when she did her photoshoot with firecrackers on Diwali.

Later, Jugnu appeared in the promo song ‘Saari Duniya Mere Ispe’ in the movie named ‘Loot’ (2011). In 2013, she then did an item song in ‘ Sillunu Oru Sandhippu’.
