“The Team”, Quer durch Europa startet “The Team” am Donnerstag, dem 5. März 2015, um 20.15 Uhr in ORF eins seine internationale Verfolgungsjagd. In der vierteiligen ORF-eins-Eventserie (5., 11., 18. und 25. März – jeweils um 20.15 Uhr in ORF eins) begibt sich ein JIT – Joint Investigation Team – auf die Spur eines Serienmörders: Eine Blutspur zieht durch Europa. Die Handschrift des Täters: Prostituierte werden mit einem Schuss durch das linke Auge getötet und ein Finger wird ihnen abgeschnitten. Europol bildet ein “Joint Investigation Team”, bestehend aus Teamleiter Harald Björn für Dänemark (Lars Mikkelsen) und seinen Kolleginnen Jackie Mueller für Deutschland (Jasmin Gerat) und Alicia Verbeek für Belgien (Veerle Baetens). Doch die Morde sind nur die Spitze des Eisbergs. In weiteren Rollen spielen u.a. die Österreicher Nicholas Ofczarek, Miriam Stein und Sunnyi Melles.
