Career
Needham is best known for his role as Junkie in the horror film “The Ritual” (2017). He acted as Saturninus in the film “Shakespeare’s Globe: Titus Andronicus”. He appeared as Mr. Crowe in the drama series “Sanditon” (2019).
Needham completed his graduation from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and holds a Bachelor of Arts with 3 years of an acting course in 2007. After that, he performed on several stages, such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Court, and Shakespeare’s Globe. Needham got nominated for the Ian Charleson Awards 2011.
Matthew Needham performed as Greenwood in the short drama film “Stutterer” (2015) directed and written by Benjamin Cleary. The film is about what is it like when you have a stammer. He received further praise for starring the role so confidently. The film won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
