Nadine Ellis (born on April 15, 1971) in New York, U.S. She is an American actress.


She is best known for the role of Dynamite in the film Hairspray (2007). Ellis also acted Ironette Dancer in the adventure film Iron Man 2 (2010) and Teller in the action film Die Hard 4.0 (2007). In 2011, she appeared as Stacy Lawrence in the comedy-drama series Let’s Stay Together.

Ellis performed as April the lead role of Four of Hearts, released in 2013 and directed by Eric Haywood. Her popular films, including Love the One You’re With (2015), The Coalition (2013), Netflix drama series Greenhouse Academy (2017). She has worked in many drama series and films, including Back to the Goode Life, He’s Mine Not Yours, Somebody’s Child, and Influence.

Recently, she appeared as Leah Franklin Dupont in the drama series Our Kind of People (2021- present). She worked as Elizabeth Blake in the comedy action film Daphne & Velma (2018) and Uber Pool Woman in 9 Rides (2016).
