5 Best Hidden Gems for iOS on the App Store
The iPhone is among some of the best-selling phones since the day it was introduced by Steve Jobs. Since then, there have been seemingly new apps on the App Store that go above and beyond by offering features that can make your life easier.
So, here are five of the best hidden gem apps on the App Store.
Slidebox
Slidebox brings a little fun to an activity that a lot of us find tedious. The app uses a Tinder-like swipe interface to make photo management a little more fun.
When you launch Slidebox for the first time, you will be prompted to grant it photo access. Once you do that, it will load up all the images and videos in your gallery that haven’t been sorted into albums yet.
You can swipe the images left and right to browse them, similar to the Photos app. To delete the media, you can simply swipe up or swipe down to add them to your favorites. Towards the bottom part of the screen, you can see the number of albums you have. Simply click on an album’s name to add a picture to it.
When you delete media, it’s added to the internal Trash box in Slidebox. You can then choose the delete all the media in it with a single tap.
Although the free app is very useful, I recommend getting the paid version since it offers a lot of utility.
feeeed
Yeah, we know. You’re probably thinking I spelled it wrong. But, it’s called feeeed with four e’s.
But enough about spelling lessons, let’s talk about what feeeed does.
It’s a new type of Really Simple Syndication(RSS) reader that allows you to follow any website that supports RSS. This allows users to keep track of multiple websites using a single platform.
However, feeeed distinguishes itself from other RSS readers by offering other functionality as well. You can add flashcards to learn new things, add your reminders, track the weather, create live sites, such as those showing stock prices, and add reading lists.

It’s made by a designer in The Brower Company team to provide a fresh take on browsing.
Contact Spectrum customer service number for assistance with billing, technical support, plan upgrades, and all your service-related inquiries.
Arc Search
This new browser uses AI to provide an entirely new way to browse the web.
What differentiates it is the feature that can browse the web for you. All you have to do is enter your search query in the search box and Arc will browse the web for you and show you the results in a neatly organized list.
It also clears the clutter and archives old tabs, and blocks ads, trackers, and banners. The minimal design can tint itself automatically to match the color accent of your website perfectly.
When testing out Arc, I decided to use it for browsing on my fiber internet. After less than three seconds, Arc created a new page that showed me the services offered by them, the locations it’s available in, as well as, details about their TV, internet, and phone packages along with links for me to click and go direct to the main pages.
Blank Spaces
Let’s be honest, we all use our phones a little too much. And, all of it is by design. Apps have beautiful icons with animations and designs that are pleasing to our eyes.
Blank Spaces is a way to control it. It’s essentially a minimal home screen provider for iOS users. Although iOS doesn’t support launchers the way Android does, the app offers widgets designed to provide access to some of the most-used apps without adding to the clutter or making them distracting for you.
I’ve been going for a digital detox of sorts and using the app’s widgets along with the black-and-white color filter.
Break the Web
If you’re always following the latest news and hate the concept of having multiple news apps, this app is a great way to get the latest news in a single app. The app allows you to get summarized stories of news and trends in real time using AI.
It also has the option to show different views of stories from different perspectives. Other features are trending alerts, which can keep you updated on the breaking news as well as an AI-generated newsletter that can recap the events of the day.
Although, sometimes, the app can generate awkward, incorrect, or offensive material, it still is an interesting experimental app that works great most of the time.
With countless apps being published each day, there are bound to be a lot of apps that go unnoticed. So, do you know about an app that’s a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered? Let us know in the comments below.
