1. She Got Her Inspiration From Cats

When Casey was a little child, her father took her to see a performance of Cats in New York City, and that experience is thought to have ignited her passion for performing. After seeing what she did, Casey was so inspired that she started putting on her own performances on a special stage her father had created.

2. Enrolled At The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater

Wilson and her close friend, June Diane Raphael, enrolled at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City to study improv after graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of The Arts.

3. Made Her Film Debut In 2006

Wilson made her film debut as a student in Christopher Guest’s For Your Consideration (2006). Although her cameo on Julie & Julia was brief, she has subsequently gone on to have considerably larger roles on C.O.G., The Great Buck Howard, Killers, The Brothers Solomon, Freak Dancing, The Breakup Girl, The Guilt Trip, Why Him?, and The Meddler. To fill in for Maya Rudolph on Saturday Night Live, Casey was hired in January 2008.
