 She attended Southwestern University, where she was engaged as a musician in the symphonic and jazz bands as well as a vocalist, and she earned a B.F.A. degree with a minor in music.

She started learning music when she joined the school band in the fifth grade, and she’s been addicted ever since. She studied flute and clarinet while playing saxophone in a variety of music ensembles throughout the school.

She randomly tried out for a high school musical theater show, which led her to find her actual passion: singing!
