1. Served In The Israeli Navy

You never know what people are like until you look into their past. Oded served in a Israeli navy for a while before being discharged, after which he did a few things before focusing on his acting career.

2. Worked Security For Israeli Airlines

In Germany, he worked as a security guard for Israeli airlines.  You can see where his serious attitude came from because he had to work security, which is probably less dangerous than it sounds but can certainly lend itself to certain hazards that are difficult to avoid at times.

3. His Favourite Book

“To Kill a Mockingbird” is his favorite book. You have to hand it to this guy; he’s smart, attractive, can act, and has a good taste in literature. Many of us may recall having to read this book as a high school requirement, but only a few admit that it is one of their favorites.

4. Trained In Hapkido

He has Hapkido training. Given that he worked security for an airline, this makes a lot of sense. While many of them in the United States may appear to be a little thick in the middle, there are some that you can just look at and know you don’t want to mess with.

5. Cast In The First Two Mummy Movies

He portrayed Ardeth, one of the Magi tasked with keeping the mummy hidden. Yes, today is a day of shameless puns. He was a great ally of the main characters and one of the greatest swordsmen of his time. [1]

He’s appeared on NCIS. Like many people with his skin tone and accent, he was used as a Mossad operative, but one who hindered rather than helped the team. Given her previous association with Mossad, he was a particular annoyance to Zeeva.

7. Not A Gun’s Fan

He’s not a big fan of weapons. This is somewhat ironic given his role in the Resident Evil films, in which guns are one of the only ways to survive. Fortunately, it was a role and not reality, so perhaps he was able to overcome his aversion for the sake of the job.

8. His Performance In “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”

He played a real jerk in this film, but he was also the type of man that many women would drool over. A male gigolo who answered to no pimp and made people afraid to wear shoes in his presence is someone you should take seriously.
