I do believe things happen in life to bring about appropriate changes. I am sorry Spall missed out on the role of Pund, but Timothy McMullen was for sure the man!! He was excellent. I will miss detective Pund! Great series! I hope we will see more of Timothy McMullen. What would I do without Masterpiece Theater! I have not watched American television in years.

A perfect Pund, I don’t think Spall would have been quite right. I have read both books Magpie Murders and Mooflower Murders and Timothy McMullen is just how I visualised him. Both are wonderful books how Anthony Horowitz does it with such great detail is unbelievable. Of course Leslie narrates one of the books and thank goodness she stars in the adaptation because again perfect casting. Anthony Horowitz never lets the reader down each book seems to build on the previous ones being even more gripping. Let’s hope Moonflower Murder is the next TV project. I can’t wait.
