Shamoon Abbasi directorial, Durj, has been cleared by the censor board to release in Pakistan with minor cuts. Sources have revealed to The Express Tribune that the film has been cleared following a second survey by the censor board. Prior, the film was restricted by CBFC to release in Pakistan. Earlier, a source told the Express Tribune that “The control board has restricted Durj due to its sensitive subject- Cannibalism. Given that a delicate point, for example, barbarianism, ought not to be proliferated so transparently.
