Omar Sy is a French film actor and comedian, born in Trappes in the Yvelines office, France. He is well-known for his duo with Fred Testot, Omar & Fred, and for his role in The Intouchables, written and directed by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, which became the second-highest-grossing French film of all time in the French box office. Omar Sy has Fulani origins, and he is a Muslim by religion.

Career Journey

Omar Sy commenced his career after high school in 1996 with Radio Nova as a comedian, where he met comedy partner Fred Testot.  Then, he featured in the TV show Le Cinéma de Jamel on Canal+ channel, with Jamel Debbouze. He then created a TV show called Le Visiophon.

He has starred in the TV game show Fort Boyard in 2006. He co-starred in the fourth film of the Jurassic Park saga, Jurassic World, which was released in June 2015.
