Osgood Robert “Oz” Perkins II is better known as Oz Perkins is a renowned American actor, screenwriter, and director. He is the first son of actor Anthony Perkins and actress Berry Berenson. He has a younger brother named Elvis Perkins, who is a musician.

His maternal grandfather was of Lithuanian-Jewish origin, and his family’s original surname was “Valvrojenski”. He performed his first acting role in Psycho II (1983), in which he blinked as the twelve-year-old version of the Norman Bates character his father portrayed.

Career

Oz Perkins has appeared in films and other television shows. His film credits include Six Degrees of Separation (1993), Legally Blonde (2001), and Not Another Teen Movie (also 2001). He also performed a temporary role in the film Star Trek (2009) as a Starfleet Academy trainee. In the award-winning indie film La Cucina (2007), where he played Chris, opposite Leisha Hailey.

Oz Perkins wrote and directed the horror films, including The Blackcoat’s Daughter (2015) and I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016). In 2020, he directed the dark fantasy-horror adaptation, Gretel & Hansel and The Twilight Zone.

He also co-wrote the crime thriller film Cold Comes the Night (2013) and horror-thriller film The Girl in the Photographs (2015). In 2014, he appeared in the biographical crime film Electric Slide as Andy Segal, which Tristan Patterson directed and wrote. However, Perkins is not on any social media platform.
