Seema is an Indian film and television actress who mainly works in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada film industry. She appeared in various movies and also appeared on television shows. She was born on 22nd May 1957, Madras, India where she grew up and studied under the supervision of her parents. She is the daughter of Madhavan Nambiar and Vasanthy. She got her primary education from P.N. Dhawan Adarsh Vidyalaya, Chennai, India.
Career
At the age of 14, Seema started her career with a Tamil movie in which she played the role of a dancer. She made a debut movie named “Nizhale Nee Sakshi” which was directed by Lisa Baby. In the movie, she appeared as an actress but later, this film was stopped and shelved. Later, it was completed with Vidhuabala as a heroine.
At the age of 19, Seema made her film debut in the Malayalam film industry and appeared in the movie named “Avalude Ravukal”.The film was directed by I.V.Sasi.
In 1988, she became famous and actively appeared in various movies. In the same year, she appeared in “Olympian Anthony Adam”. Since then, she started appearing in a large number of movies and television shows that became the biggest reason of her life’s achievements.
Also, she worked in Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi cinema as well. She has acted in more than 280 movies throughout her career.

In 1984, Seema was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for the category of Best Actress. In 1985, her biography named “Vishudha Shanthi” was published by Didi Damodaran. While in 2011, she awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 59th Idea Filmfare Festival which was held at Chennai, India.
Personal Life
Seema was married to I.V.Sasi in 1980, but when things didn’t go well between them, then they parted their ways and got divorced in 2017. The couple is blessed with two kids named, Anu Sasi and Ani Sasi.
