Sudheer Babu Posani is an Indian film actor who mainly known for his amazing work in the Telugu film industry. Also, he is a former professional Badminton player as playing Badminton was his passion since childhood. However, when he joined his professional career as an actor, he marked his identity in the Telugu cinema and won millions of hearts.

He was born on 11^th May 1980, India where he raised and grew up with siblings and family. Sudheer Babu found his parents so encouraging and extremely supportive of who stand beside him throughout his career. He always seeks inspiration from his father as he has been idealizing him as a role model.

He was born to Nageswara Rao and Posani Rani. While he has a sister named, Karuna, who is elder than him.

Sudheer Babu did his schooling from Veeramachaneni Paddayya Sidhartha Public School. Later, he attended M.S Ramiah Institute of Technology, College and Maharishi Institute of Management, Hyderabad from where he did BE, GMT, and MBA. After completing his studies, he then decided to join the film line to pursue his career as an actor.

Career

In 2010, Sudheer Babu made a debut film with” Ye Maaya Chesave” for which he earned huge fame and recognition. In the film, he appeared as Jerry Thekekuttu. The film was directed by Gautham Menon and produced by Manjula Ghattamaneni, who is his sister-in-law.

Later, he appeared in various movies and played unique roles to enthrall his fans and viewers. Some of his most popular movies are, “Prem Katha Chitram”, “Shiva Manasulo Shruti” and Bollywood movie “Baaghi” in which he played the role of villain.

“Prem Katha Chitram” was directed by G.Krishnareddy and it also features Asmita Sood and Poonam Kaur, released in 2013.

Since then, he worked in various movies and has been winning the hearts of many with his dashing looks, and brilliant performances.

He was honored with number 1 ranked as Badminton Player of Andra Pradesh and Karnataka as well. Also, he played with Pullela Gopichand as a doubles partner and he set to play the role of Gopichand in the biopic.

However, he appeared in the “V”, which was scheduled to release in 2020 but delayed due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The film was directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti and produced by Dil Raju.

Achievements

Sudheer Babu Posani won the SIIMA Film Award for the South Sensation of the Year. Also, he won the Special Jury Award – Telugu film named “Samohannam” in 2019. In the same year, he earned a nomination for the Best Actor-Telugu.

Personal life

Sudheer Babu got married to Priyadarsini. The duo is blessed with children, named Charith Maanas, and Darshan (Sons).
