An English stage actor, Toby Stephens who performed on the television and film has appeared in films in the UK, US and India. He is known for playing recurring roles in movies and TV series, mainly known for playing the role of Bond villain Gustav Graves in the James Bond film named ‘Die Another Day’ which was released in 2002. It was nominated for the ‘Saturn Award’ for Best Supporting Actor.
Career
In 1992, Stephens started his film career with the role of Othello in ‘Orlando’, a directorial of Sally Potter. Since then, he made regular appearances on the television including ‘The Camomile Lawn, and on the stage.
Toby Stephens is also known for playing the role of Edward Fairfax Rochester in a BBC television adaptation of Jane Eyre.
Additionally, Stephens made an appearance as Captain Flint in the Starz television series ‘Black Sails’. Toby Stephens was regarded as one of the leads in the Netflix science fiction series Lost in Space, which started streaming in 2018.
