William Hurt, who turned into a top rising man during the 1980s, has passed away on Sunday. He has achieved an Oscar for 1985’s “Kiss of the Spider Woman”. Later, he was featuring in “The Big Chill” and “Body Heat.” The actor died due to normal causes on 13th March. William’s demise affirmed by his companion, Gerry Byrne. The popular star’s companion Gerry Byrne confirmed the demise of William to Variety. The actor had achieved an Academy Award for his part in the 1985 film Kiss of the Spider Woman. He was also nominated for his work in A History of Violence, Broadcast News and Children of a Lesser God.
William had been in Marvel Universe films portraying the part of General Thaddeus Ross in movies including 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and 2021’s Black Widow. The entertainer had learned his specialty at Juillard. He showed up in various stage creations for the Circle Repertory Company. Before being projected in film Altered States as Eddie Jessup.
He proceeded to show up in various movies including Body Heat and The Big Chill and Gorky Park. His Oscar-winning turn for Best Actor in a Leading Role as Luis Molina in film Kiss of the Spider Woman. William had been hitched two times, to entertainer Mary Beth from 1971 to 1982. Later, he married to Heidi Henderson. He had been sincerely involved with Children of a Lesser God co-star Marlee Matlin.
Hurt’s colleagues paid tribute to the veteran actor.
After the demise of Hurt, some of his friends and colleagues took to Twitter to pay remembrance to the legendary actor. Moreover, Popular stars including Albert Brooks, Mark Ruffalo, Topher Grace, and Brian Koppelman wrote heartfelt note and paid tribute on Twitter. William’s son Will said in a statement: “It is with great sadness that the Hurt family mourns the passing of William Hurt, beloved father and Oscar winning actor, on March 13, 2022, one week before his 72nd birthday.”
