David Jacobs, Creator of Dallas dies at 84

David Jacobs was a writer and producer of 80s soaps like Dallas and Knots Landing, passed away at 84. He began with the Kingston: Confidential (TV series, 1977 ) later contributing to shows such as Family, Kaz, and Dallas. Jacobs co-created Dallas, centered on the Ewing family’s oil empire, with 356 episodes, as well as Knots Landing with 344 episodes. He also co-founded the Paradise TV Series consisting of 56-episodes.
David Jacobs cause of death is Alzheimer. He battled Alzheimer’s for years, at the end passed away on Sunday at Burbank’s Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center.
