Deepika Padukone reveals when ‘The Intern’ shooting will begin

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was last seen in Shakun Batra’s film ‘Gehraiyaan’. It was released on 11th February. Deepika was seen alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, highly-anticipated film The Intern. The actress revealed that the shootings of The Intern will begin from this or the next year. She is preparing to co-produce the Bollywood adaptation of the Hollywood film.
The legenday actor of Bollywood industry, Amitabh Bachchan is the main lead of film The Intern. The Intern is been the talk of town since it was announced.
During a chat with Mid day. Deepika revealed that there film’s shooting is delayed because of the third wave of Covid-19. Deepika said: “The third wave wasn’t anticipated, so it threw a few things off course”. However, work on the project hasn’t begin yet, fans are already excited to welcome the film on box office. For unveresed, the lead role was slated to play by Rishi Kapoor. However, after the demise of Rishi in 2020, Amitabh roped in to helm the role.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is also shooting for her upcoming film ‘Pathan’ with Shah Rukh Khan. She will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s film ‘Fighter’. The actress will sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan.
