Deepika Padukone speaks about intimate scenes in ‘Gehraiyaan’

The Shakun Batra’s film Gehraiyaan was released on 11th February. It is an official film of Amazon Prime. The film is based on modern-day relation ships and it about the depth of relationships. Which is why it is titled as Gehraiyaan. The film starring Deepika Padukone alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey. Dhairya Karwa is also a main part of the film. Deepika portrayed the role of Alisha, While Siddhant is seen as Zain. Ananya’s role is as Tia and Dhairya as Karan.
During the promotions of film Gehraiyaan, Deepika was asked about the intimacy in the film. Deepika broke her silence and spoke about the intimacy.
While talking to the media, Deepika expressed that intimacy is not the selling point of the film. She tried to explain that the film is about emotions and real relationship. Intimacy is there only to show the reality of the character and the relationship.
Moreover, Deepika added during the conversation.: “As an actor, some of my scenes with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Naseeruddin Shah, and Rajat Kapoor are very exciting. Performing in front of these actors sometimes is very exciting.” She added: “For me as a professional, as an actor, some of the scenes performed with these actors are the biggest takeaways from the film. Apart from that, it is also the experience of working with Shakun (Batra).”
