Yes, the most popular Pakistani singer-musician of Sufi music married Ghulam Hussain Sheikh, the senior producer at Radio Pakistan, in 1975. Ghulam Hussain retired from his job in the 1980s to manage and mentor Parveen’s career. In the early 2000s, he died of a heart attack on an international flight. Later, their daughter, Marium Hussain, took up that role.
