Mehdi Hasan Khan was a famous Pakistani ghazal singer and playback singer. He was popularly known as the “Shahenshah-e-Ghazal”. Mehdi was one of the greatest and most influential figures in the history of ghazal singing. Yes, the singer was a Shia Muslim. He has also written articles about Islam and Muslims for the New leader and newspapers.
