    Sally Kellerman is a popular American actress, singer, and author. The actress has spend over 60 years in her acting career. She is best known for Robert Altman’s film MASH, in which she portrayed role of Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan. MASH was one of the popular Korean dramas of 1970. Kellerman has earned Oscar and Emmy nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, for film MAS*H.

    Sally’s other hit characters include a professor in Rodney Dangerfield’s “Back to School” and a cameo in Robert Altman’s “The Player”.


    On 24 February, the actress passed away at the age of 84. The death was confirmed by Sally’s publicist Alan Eichler. The blonde actress with the naturally throaty voice showed up in two Altman films in 1970. She also appeared in “Brewster McCloud” alongside Bud Cort and Michael Murphy. In this film, Sally appeared as Louise, the mother of the bewinged Cort, Brewster.

    Sally was also a famous singer. When she was 18, She signed a contract with Verve Records. However, her first album was not recorded until 2971 ‘Roll With the Feelin‍ ’. In 2009, her second album ‘Sally was released. She also sung the tracks for films including “Brewster McCloud,” “Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins,” “Boris and Natasha: The Movie” and “Lost Horizon”.
