Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most popular actress of Tamil & Telugu film industry. The actress is gearing up for her upcoming film ‘Shaakuntalam’. The highly-anticipated film written and directed by Gunasekhar. The mythological drama film is produced by Neelima Guna. Besides Samantha, the film also stars Dev Mohan. However, the lead role of ‘Shaakuntalam’ will be portrayed by Samantha. While Dev Mohan will be seen as ‘Dushyant’.
The actress Samantha took to her Twitter to share the poster of her upcoming film ‘ Shaakuntalam’.
On 21 February, she revealed her first look from her upcoming film. In the poster, the actress is clad in a white attire, decorated with flowers. She is wearing floral jewelry. While sitting on a rock, the actress can be seen in between lot of animals. Moreover, Samantha added a caption with the post. While tagging the team of ‘Shaakuntalam’, She wrote: “Nature’s beloved.. the Ethereal and Demure.. “Shakuntala” from”Moreover, the movie is based on a Indian play Shakuntala by Kalidasa. Aditi Balan and Mohan Babu will be seen as supporting roles in the film. Allu Arha will make her Telugu debut with this film. Mani Sharma has composed the music of this film.
