Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor happily announced the new release date of his upcoming film ‘Jersey’. The film is starring Shahid Kapoor alongside Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur. It is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is remake of Telugu film which was also titled ‘Jersey’.
Shahid will be seen as a former cricketer who gets back to the game for his child’s desire of a ‘jersey’. The film has officially announced in 2019.
The film Jersey was decided to release earlier in December 2020. But due to the pandemic the maker has to postponed the film. Later, it was scheduled to relase in 2021. However, it again postponed due the rise of Covid in India. Therefore, the new and final release date of the film is out now.
The actor Shahid Kapoor took to his twitter handle to made a big announcement. He revealed the new release date of the film ‘Jersey’. In addition, He wrote: “So so happy to announce that our beloved film #Jersey will be releasing worldwide in theatres on the 14th of April 2022. See you in the theatres.”
