    Bobbie Nelson is known as the elder sister of the country music legend Willie Nelson. She was a long-time piano artist in his band. The musician has died at the age of 91. An official member from the Willie Nelson and Family Band, Bobbie Nelson worked a s pianist for over 50 years with her sibling. The musician passed away on 10 march, Thursday. The Nelson family said in a statement that Bobbie died “peacefully and surrounded by family.” The reason of Bobbie’s death is not revealed yet. Nelson was raised by her music-loving grandparents in Abbott, Texas. Bobbie Nelson was born on 1st January 1931. The pianist learned the use of piano by perusing four-partition-shape-note harmonies in song books. However, She played boogie-woogie for her school mates and fell in love with it.

    Moreover, She played honky-tonks with her younger brother. But later she left playing music to go to business school after the demise of her husband Bud Fletcher. Her first occupation after college was at the Hammond Organ Company. She worked in the music library and exhibited the organization’s organs. In 1972, Bobbie joined her brother’s support band and worked with him for a really long time.

    Bobbie Nelson proceeded to visit and record with her sibling Willie. She worked with her brother for a long time, showing up on a significant number of his collections, spreading over Red Headed Stranger in 1975 to The Willie Nelson Family last year. In 2008, Nelson released her solo album called ‘Audiobiography’, before she turned 77. It was the only one solo album of Bobbie. Moreover, Willie and Bobbie Nelson co-composed a memoir titled Me and Sister Bobbie: True Tales of the Family Band.
