Crispin Glover appeared on Late Night with David Letterman on July 28, 1987, where he was invited to promote River’s Edge (1986) as drama/crime movie. Glover appeared wearing platform shoes and a wig in order to surprise the audience and Letterman.
Why David Letterman left the show?
Glover behaved erratically during the late night show and almost kicked the Letterman in face, which caused the Letterman to walk off the set.
