Ray Charles was a famous American singer born in Albany, Georgia. He grew up in Greenville, Florida. At age five, he began playing the piano. Sadly, he lost his vision because of glaucoma that eventually left him blind. He was one of the famous blind people to understand the art of playing the piano.
