Ajankya Deo took the start of his career with the Marathi debut movie “Ardhangi” which was released in the year 1985. Later, he made an appearance in the Bollywood film “Sansar” in which he worked alongside the elegant, veteran, iconic actress Rekha. While it was his debut movie and released in the year 1987. Since then, he frequently worked in a variety of Indian and Marathi movies. Later, he made an appearance in the horror show named “Zee Horror Show” which had run from 1995 to 1996 on the Zee TV channel. The actor has strong roots in the film industry as his parents are well-known film stars who work in the Marathi cinema while his brother is also a film director. Initially, Deo wanted to be a pilot but later, he discovered his inclination to acting and decided to pursue it as a career. He is a multilingual person who can speak English, Marathi, and Hindi fluently and has also worked in English, Marathi and Hindi movies. He has acted in various movies for which the actor had won much praise from his fans and viewers. He also worked as a producer and an executive director of television channel “Prabhat Entertainment”. Moreover, he found his passion into writing so he has written several scripts and one of his most popular is the screenplay of Bollywood movie “Ek Krantiveer- Vasudev Balwant Phadke” which was released in 2007. In 2016, he worked as a producer on more than 20 episodes of “24-India”. Undoubtedly, the actor has established himself as the best artist who flaunts his multiple skills.
