Fabian Allen is an international Jamaican cricketer. Allen was born on 7th May, in 1995. His full name is Fabian Anthony Allen. Allen belongs to the capital city of Jamaica, named Kingston. Primarily Allen is a good slow left-arm orthodox bowler but he performed as the Right-handed batsman occasionally.
Allen’s cricket career started from the 2016-17 Regional Four Day Competition. He made his mark in the last few matches of the tournament by scoring the back to back the 50s in the three consecutive matches of the game.
This remarkable performance let him pick up for the 13th round of the 2017 session of the Caribbean Premier League by St Kitts and Nevis Patriots franchise later on, in 2017 he played his first Twenty20 cricket in the Caribbean Premier League on 19 August 2017.
He again appeared in the 2017–18 Regional Four Day Competition on 6th February 2018 where he made his maiden century with 169 runs not out in his first-class debut for Jamaica against Trinidad and Tobago. Not only this, but Allen has also made his List A debut in the 2017–18 Regional Super50 tournament for Jamaica.
As far as the international career of the player, in October 2018, Allen was called for the West Indies squad for the One Day International (ODI) as well as Twenty20 International (T20I) series against the Indian squad. Later, he played both the series of ODI and T20I matches for the West Indies on 27th October 2018 and 4th November 2018 against India.
In 2019, Allen has also nominated in the West Indies’ squad for the Cricket World Cup of session 2019. Additionally, Cricket West Indies awarded Allen a central contract for the first time in July 2019 that ahead of the season 2019–2020.
Recently, he made his ODI as well as T20 debut against Sri Lanka on 1st March 2020 and 6th March 2020, respectively. Now a day, he is a member of the Multan Sultans team in the player auction of the 2020 draft of the PSL 5.
