Flora Saini, who is popularly known by her screen name Asha Saini-an Indian model and actress and has worked in numerous Kannada, Hindi and Tamil films. After making a debut movie with “Prema Kosam” (1999), she has appeared in more than 50 movies and also worked alongside famous stars like; Prabu, Rajeshkhar, Sudeep, and others.

She was born in Chandigarh where she grew up along with siblings and parents. She belongs to a Hindu family and her father was an army officer.

Career

After completing studies, she then decided to start her career in the field of modeling. Later, she took part in the Kolkata beauty pageant contest.

Later, she made her debut film in 1999- “Prema Kosam” in which she played the lead role. The film producer renamed her as Asha Saini. Later, she adopted another screen name- Mayuri. It just because of her astrologer advised her to change the name.

Flora Saini has worked in more than a dozen Telugu movies and played supporting roles. She appeared in the highly successful film “Narasimha Naidu” which was released in 2002.

In 2002, she made a debut film in the Bollywood film industry and appeared in “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” which was produced by T.P Aggarwal.

In 2004, she appeared in another Hindi movie named “Love In Nepal” and worked alongside the most acclaimed singer, Sonu Nigam. The film was produced by T.P Aggarwal.

Alongside this, she also appeared in various Kannada films and marked her identity in the cinematic world.

In 2008, she was banned from the Tamil film industry because she was arrested in Chennai for forged visa documents. But a few weeks later, the ban was lifted as she claimed innocence.

In 2015, she appeared in “MSG: The Messenger” in which she played the role of Muskan. In the film, she worked alongside Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Whereas, she was last appeared in the web-series named “Gandi Baat-2” and also worked in “Mayanagari- City of Dreams of Hotstar”.
