George Maryan is an actor, comedian, born on 23rd March 1963, and hailing from India. He is exclusively appeared in Tamil cinema but initially, he worked as a theatre artist. Alongside this, he collaboratively worked with filmmakers, like; A.L.Vijay, Sunder C, and Priyadarshan. Being an enthusiast person, he always wanted to be a successful actor and finally, after living a struggling life, he achieved all his career goals and became a renowned actor.
Career
The most talented actor, George Maryan started his career working as a theatre artist during 1989 and he continued working there until 2002. Thereafter, he decided to work in Tamil cinema and played supporting and comic roles in a variety of movies for which he earned huge acclaim. He made a major breakthrough in a Tamil movie “Kanchivaram” which was directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2008. Later, a famed director, A.L. Vijay cast him in his film project “Poi Solla Porom” which was released in 2008.
In 2010, he appeared in “Madrassapatinam” in which he played a role of an English teacher while in another movie “Deiva Thirumagal” he portrayed the role of a mentally retarded person. The film was released in the year 2011.
In 2014, he worked in A.L.Vijay’s directorial “Saivam” for which he has earned critical acclaim. However, he has proved himself a best and successful actor in the South Indian cinema and has won the millions of hearts with his amazing performances.
