Career
He was born on 8th December 1953, Marungur, Tamil Nadu, India and he achieved degrees in Arts & Crafts and also did a diploma in painting.
During the early 1970s, he started his career in the Tamil film industry and worked as an assistant director to Bharathiraja who was a friend of the veteran actor Kamal Hassan. Manobala worked as an assistant director for the movie “Puthiya Vaarpugal” in 1979.
He has made his career broad by working in multiple domains, like; acting, directing, and production as well. He has worked in Tamil, Kannada, and Bollywood cinema.
In 1982, he made his directorial debut movie named “Agaya Gangai”. While another movie which was the Kannada directorial released in 1986.
In 1990, he made a Bollywood directorial movie “Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai” and he also worked as directed the movie “Sathuranga Vettai” which was released in 2014.
However, he has acted in a large number of movies for which he earned huge acclaim and also made some directorial. Moreover, he worked as a dubbing artist and also appeared in some TV series.
