Jaime King (born on April 23, 1979) in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S. She is an American actress and model.

She has two sisters, named Sandi and Barry, and a brother named Robert. King attended a modeling school and in 1995 dropped out of Westside High School in order to continue a modeling course in New York City. Later, she joined a home-study program run by the University of Nebraska.

Career

Her parents gave her the childhood nickname “King” because her agency already represented another Jaime Rishar, who is a famous model.

At age 14, in 1993, the industry determined King a successful model. She appeared in several fashion magazines, including Vogue, Mademoiselle, Harper’s Bazaar, and other fashion magazines. She began acting, taking minor film roles in 1998.

King made her first debut film role as Betty Bayer Pearl Harbor (2001) and her first starring movie role as Jade “Bad Girl” Kerensky in Bulletproof Monk (2003).

She has since performed many characters such as Goldie and Wendy in the film Sin City (2005) and Sarah Mercer-Palmer My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009). She then starred in the TV series Hart of Dixie and performed the role of Lemon Breeland (2011-2015). Later that year, she had the lead role of Elise Donner in The Mistletoe Promise. King also gave voice to the role of Aurra Sing in the series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008).
