Karunanidhi Sethu, popularly known as Karunas, who is an actor, singer, former comedian, and a politician. He mainly works in the Tamil cinema and mostly played supporting roles, while he also played lead roles in some movies. Apart from acting, he flaunts in multiple skills, such as; music composing, and production as well. Also, he was elected as the Vice President of the Nadigar Sangam in 2015.
Career
The multi-skilled person started his career as a pop singer and dancer. He mainly works on Tamil folk music. Gradually, he moved into the film industry and started appearing in movies as a comedian.
He started working as a singer at the age of 12. Later, Karunas made his television debut “Naiyaandi Darbar Show” through Yuhi Sethu.
In 2001, he appeared in the drama film “Nandha” which was directorial of Bala, who cast him as a comedian for which he gained critical acclaim. Since then, he frequently appeared in other film projects, such as; “Baba” (2002), “Vasool Raja MBBS” (2004), “Pithamagan” (2003), and more movies are included in the list of hit movies.
In 2008, he appeared in the comedy-drama and worked as a lead star. The comedy-drama “Dindigul Sarathy” was a production of Sun Pictures. Fortunately, the film became an instant hit and went well at the box office.
After gaining huge popularity and fame, he then appeared in various movies, such as; “Ambasamudram” (2010), “Chandhamama”2013) and the list goes on.
However, he is the man who has established his career in multiple domains, like; acting, singing, music, and production as well. Undoubtedly, he has been winning the hearts of millions of his fans with his outstanding performances throughout his career life.

He married to Grace, who is a playback singer and mainly works in the Tamil film industry. The couple is blessed with a daughter and a son.
