Mathira is a Pakistani multi-talented showbiz personality. She is a model, dancer, TV hostess, singer, and actress. She was born as Mathira Mohammad to a Muslim family on 25th February 1992 in Harare, Zimbabwe. Her father is a South African descent and mother is a Pakistani descent. Mathira got her education from Zimbabwe, then moved to Pakistan with her family.
Career Journey
Mathira started her career from music videos and made her debut in numerous videos. She gave a notable performance in Malkoo’s songs, such as Jadugar, Desi Beat and Nachdi Kamaal Billo. Her other famous video was Woh Kaun Thi by Rizwan-ul-Haq.
After her success in the video debut, she stepped to the TV host and in March 2011, she got an opportunity to host a late-night program “Love Indicator” which was aired on Vibe TV. In the same year, she also hosted another TV show “Baji Online”, aired on AAG-TV. Mathira has also featured the cover of various famous Pakistani fashion magazines,
Mathira started her deco-career by making her Bollywood debut in an Item song “Lakk Ch Current” of an Indian Punjabi film “Young Malang” in 2013. Her Bollywood debut made her more popular in India, and she then also acted as a special appearance in the Lollywood item number “Masti Mein Doobi Raat Hai” of the black blaster film “Main Hoon Shahid Afridi”, starred with Humayun Saeed in the same year. Following the years, she made her third dancing debut in a new music video, which titled “Jhoota” alongside a young-rapper, Arbaz Khan. She has also appeared in the song “Piya Re”, released by Pakistani musical band. Where she performed with Furqan and Imran by paying the tribute to Adnan Sami Khan’s song “Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein”. Later on, in 2017, she appeared as a Cameo appearance in the 2017 film “Raashta” alongside Saeeda Imtiaz.
She has made her acting debut on the big scene as a supporting actress in a Pakistani romantic film “Blind Love” stirring with Yasir Shah and Nimra Khan. The film revolves around a bank robbery plan, which made by three friends. Recently, Mathira acted as the lead role in a 2019 Pakistani romantic film “Sirf Tum Hi To Ho” opposite Danish Taimoor. The film is the story of a guy who plays fake love interest with Vamp but himself love with another girl. Another recent performance of Mathira as a pivotal role is in the Pakistani action revenge-thriller film “Tevar” with Sukynah Khan and Taqi Ahmed
