1- Child Star

Harkirtan Kaur aka Geeta Bali made her acting debut as a child star in the film named ‘The Cobbler’. It was the time when she was just 12 years old. Later, she made her debut film as a heroine in the year 1946 through a film named ‘Badnaami’.

2- Worked with Bollywood Biggies

Geeta Bali had the privilege to work along with Bollywood veteran actors, such as; Raj Kapoor (her future brother-in-law), Prithiviraj Kapoor, (future father-in-law), and many others.

3- Didn’t leave the Showbiz

It is observed that many female stars leave film career after their wedding, but Geeta Bali was among them who did not leave her film career even after marrying into the Kapoor family. She continued her struggle and worked in many hit movies.

4- She & Shammi Kapoor

At this point, you guys will be amazed to know that Geeta Bali married Shammi Kapoor (a great, veteran Bollywood actor). Also, the couple shared the screen space together in the movie named ‘Coffee House’ which was released in the year 1957. She kept acting until her death.
