Jiiva started his career as a child actor in 1991. He made his debut as a lead actor in his father’s production, Aasai Aasaiyai. After Sivaji Ganesan, Jiiva is the only Tamil actor to have been awarded at the Cyprus International Film Festival, particularly for his performance in Raam, which earned him global recognization. 1. A great cricket fan!

Very few people might know this interesting fact about Jiiva that he is an avid cricket lover. He loves to remain up to date about cricket events. Moreover, it was his childhood dream to work in a cricket-based movie and through 83, this dream is going to be achieved.

2. Do you know his real name?

It must be a quite surprising fact for all of you that he is known as Jiiva in the industry but his real name is something else. Yes! His real name is Amar Chaudhry! So don’t say you know it before!

3. Requested people to get vaccinated

Reports claimed that it was the same place where he had trained in Kung-Fu for a few years before venturing into movies.

7. Wore a 10 kg costume for his movie

 It must be an unknown and quite interesting fact about him that Jiiva once wore a superhero costume for his superhero-based film project, designed by Gabriella Wilkins, weighed more than 10 kg. This clearly shows his level of perfection and dedication to his work. Moreover, Jiiva had to go through an 8-hour head casting session in Hong Kong too for this project.

8. His upcoming Bollywood project

Recently he has announced that he is going to be hit Bollywood too with the film. The name of the film is 83 (2021), in which he will be portraying cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth.
