She was born on 27th April 1976, Dulwich, London. Her parents Jacqui Hawkins and Colin Hawkins, who are the authors & illustrators of children’s books. She belongs to the Irish family background and has a brother named Finbar, who is a television and film producer.

Her Educational Background

She got her elementary education from James Allen’s Girls School, Dulwich. Later, she did graduation from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1998.

She was so passionate about acting since childhood. She took an interest in acting at the age of 3 when she first went to a circus show and since then she wanted to join the comedy line but she ended up doing theatre plays.
