Simnett got her fame after her breakthrough performance in the British musical drama and mystery story The Lodge in 2016. The TV series was premiered on the Disney Channel in the United Kingdom on September 23rd, 2016, and in the United State on October 17, 2016. Where she played the main role of Skye Hart as well as served as a story consultant, starring alongside Luke Newton, Thomas Doherty, Bethan Wright, Jayden Revri, Jade Alleyne, Joshua Sinclair-Evans, and Mia Jenkins. The serial ran for two seasons during the 2016 and 2017, which paved the way for the young talented actress in the future appearances in 2017 Endeavour, Ransom, in 2018 Poldark and Daybreak.
