She is best known for her role as Dr. Grace Monroe on Syfy’s series Eureka and as Dr. Diana Devis in Sliders and has appeared in such shows as The Mentalist, Castle, and Bones. She attended Alief Hastings High School in Houston and she graduated with an art history degree from Wesleyan University, in Connecticut.

In 1995, Locke got married to a Sicilian chef Rosario “Saro” Gullo. They lived and worked together in Los Angeles, California, But unfortunately due to cancer her first husband passed away in 2012, they have a daughter together named Zoela who was 7 at the death time of her father.

On a very personal note, she married once again in July. Locke and her husband did not want to wait until the end of the pandemic to tie the knot, so they surprisingly settled for an online wedding on Zoom.
